Can I get the range of C4 and Five channels on Freesat?

Yes, you can get all the C4 family, including C4, E4, More4 and Film4, plus the +1 hour time-shift channels. You can also receive channel Five. However, Fiver and Five US are trying to find available space on the Astra2D satellite; C4HD is currently tied into contract with BSkyB, but will be available on Freesat once this is concluded (no conclusive information on when this will be!).

Yes, you can get all the C4 family, including C4, E4, More4 and Film4, plus the +1 hour time-shift channels (C4HD is due April 2011). You can also receive channel Five. However, Fiver, Five US and Five HD are all currently tied into contract with Sky as free-to-view (FTV) channels, meaning encrypted for access only on Sky, but not requiring a subscription. We hope all these channels will make an appearance in the future when the benefits of advertising revenue across an additional platform will outweigh what Sky offer to remain exclusive on any DSAT based platform.
