Can I get Sars in Thailand?

0

The Thai government has always stated during the Sars epidemic (2002/2003) that Thailand is completely Sars-free. The WHO never has added Thailand to its list of Sars-infected countries. There only have been very few (isolated) cases of Sars in Thailand. Therefore I dare to say: The chance that you can get Sars in Thailand is very small. In July 2003 PM Thaksin Shinawatra has even promised an “award” of 100,000 US$ for everybody who could prove that he had been infected with Sars in Thailand!
