Can I get information about the convicted defendant from the Department of Corrections (prison)?
Yes. You will need to register with the Department of Corrections Victim Notification Program by filling out and sending in their one-page form. Once this is done, you will be notified of information regarding the inmates status including, but not limited to, current location, transfers, escapes, death while in custody, parole hearings and release dates.
