Can I get hurt doing Crossfit?
All workouts are scaled for everyone when they begin Crossfit. We first teach the basic movements of Crossfit and then we will incorporate Olympic lifting and other more technical movements. You will need to be able to perform the movements safely and correctly with proper form consistently before we add weight or increase intensity. Most people start out doing their daily workouts using little or no weight and/or scaling the reps or time of their workout. Intensity is important, but form is more important. We never sacrifice form for intensity. There will be a certified trainer at each class to scale your workout appropriately and make sure your form is correct.
