Can I get guidelines for MPhil / PhD proposal?
Some reasons for proposing your own project might include: There is no project on the current PhD list which interests you, or which is likely to win support from your industrial or other sponsor; There are PhD topics of interest, but you would like to propose a study that would be more relevant to your own country or region; You would like to propose a study that uses the School’s expertise and facilities, but for some novel application, or in a new combination. When a member of our staff proposes a research project they will have first given considerable thought to what would make an original, relevant, and interesting project that could be completed within the appropriate timescale and within the budget available.
