Can I get General Education credit for coursework taken abroad?

General Education credit is determined by a committee on the OU campus called PACGEO (Provost’s Advisory Committee on General Education). For a student to have a course from a study abroad to be evaluated for general education certification, the student must complete (with the aid of their college advisor) a form called “GE Evaluation Form for Unequated Transfer Course” found at the bottom of this page: http://www.ou.edu/provost/pronew/content/pacgeo.html In order to complete this form, there must be significant information on the content of the course, which may or may not be available before the student’s departure.
