Your all tax related queries will be answered on websites like yahoo answers or www.caclubindia.com or search google for other websites. Also the income tax website or websites for service tax, excise (if you want information on indirect tax) would be helpful. No use visiting IT Office or other government office they will not provide you with any information. A Chartered Accountant or a tax consultant with whom, you file your return would answer to your queries from time to time for free but would charge a fee for return filing which can be very nominal at rs. 750- rs. 1000 if you do not have a large income.
