Well let me give you a lesson on how the world works. I worked in the resturant business for 8 years. I just recently got out. Any job needs everyone to be dependable. If everyone called in sick or left at the same time how would the resturant work? They would have to close down the resturant for that day and lose out on a lot of money. You were gone for 3 days and you only work 3 days a week. This shows the manager that you are not reliable and do not put your job first. If it is really important to you don’t you think that you would show up for work? You have to look at the situation from the managers side. They can always hire someone else they know will be there. To keep your job you have to go up and beyond their expections! Other wise they will find someone else. Some one is always looking for a job especially now with the economy being so bad. Look at it this way… You are the manager of the resturant. YOu job to make sure everything runs smoothly and every one that comes throu

If I was you I would go in and be sick at work until they sent me home, I highly doubt that any “Good” restaurant would want an employee there that had the flu.

If you work at a resteraunt then i’d rather you call in sick than be around my food. haha. But you shouldn’t get fired it just depends on how many times you do call in sick and your companies polocies.
