Can I get FAFSA money from two different colleges if I attend both?

FAFSA is not a financial aid program. It is just a form you fill out that is then sent on to the colleges you apply to so they can decide how much financial aid to offer you, in the form of loans and scholarships. You can only accept financial aid from a school you attend.

No you can’t get fin aid from both schools at once for the same semester. Yes they check it. Some schools have agreements with other schools if you are attending two at once where you “choose” one school to get your aid, but they agree to honor your hours at both schools. Say 6 hours at one school and 6 at another. making you only half time on the official books for fin aid. But some will agree to let you have financial aid as a FULL time student when you prove you are enrolled at the other, so you can get more aid that way. Maybe your schools will do that. PS: Don’t ever go to an all online school. It’ll be ten times more and most community colleges and state schools have online classes for everything.

You can only get each grant/loan once. You can use them at both schools if you want, but you can’t get two pell grants because you’re going to two schools. Each school will see what financial aid you’ve used or are using at different schools.
