BBC 1’s national programming is strictly controlled by contractual rights, so if you live in Wales you will only get BBC 1 Wales. However, the ‘other’ versions of BBC 2 are available to everyone. The BBC have stated that, in 2002, they plan to allow all variants of BBC1 to be available to all viewers. If you can’t wait then your only real option is to tell your card supplier that you have moved to an address within the BBC area that you wish to receive.
