Can I get Adobe PhotoShop installed on my computer?
Our current managed WindowsXP and MacOSX loads do not have Adobe CS or PhotoShop. Our older managed loads have a really old version of PhotoShop that is license served. Rather than loading this really old version, we recommend that labs either purchase their own copies or cooperate/contribute with other labs and purchase several copies to share on a license server. This is a good topic for the lab-managers@cc email list. TSO Research can assist with the license server work. Adobe PhotoShop is very cheap ($150) through the GA BoR software web site although it is more cost effective to purchase the Design Standard ($200) or the Web Premium ($250) which comes with Adobe Illustrator among other things: http://www.msd.uga.edu Alternatively, if you are doing very simple PhotoShop things, you might consider freeware GIMP: http://www.gimp.
