Yes the Dual Layer disc is double the size of a normal DVD-R, it holds 8.5 GB and you can also get Blu-Ray blanks discs but the are 20GB for around £7 each disc so there’s not much point. I strongly recommend you get the Dual layer disc as you get much more discs and it holds 8.5 GB But if you want to burn a dvd on your dvd-R that is more than 4.7GB download Allok Video Converter and convert it to .avi as it is the same as .dvd and it is supported on all DVD players.
