Can i get a new verizon phone?
The earliest Verizon will let you upgrade prior to your 2 year contract ending is 4 months early. For instance, my daughter’s phone is eligible right now (October) but the contract end date is in February 2009, so if she wanted to she could upgrade (or should I say if she had the money). Other than that, you would have to pay full retail from Verizon. Or you can check out Craigslist and eBay to see if you can find a deal. Even if it’s a used phone but it’s the one you want you can find some awesome deals. If it’s used, just make sure to get the ESN/HEX number from the owner prior to making a committment to buy or bid, then call Verizon from your current phone by dialing 611, give them this number and have them run it for you to see if there are any outstanding money owed on it (this would be for not paying their bill or not paying an early termination fee, etc.) or if it has been reported lost or stolen.
