Can I get a dual degree in Animal behavior and Wildlife Biology?
Well, I’m not sure how all universities handle wildlife biology and animal behavior. In fact, my university doesn’t offer Animal Behavior as a major, but it is a class for Wildlife Biology students (actually, there are two Wildlife behavior classes at my school– one in the wildlife department focusing on behavioral ecology, and one in the psych department that deals more with lab experiments on mice and such). At first I thought you said, “Animal science,” which it would be very hard to double-major in, since all the classes are different. Animal science deals mainly with domestic animals and their anatomy, nutrition, and care, rather than ecology which is the primary focus of Wildlife Biology. Animal behavior should be much easier to double major in, if I can guess anything from the way my Animal behavior class was run… If Animal Behavior as a major is taught in terms of behavioral ecology, there should be plenty of overlap of classes with wildlife biology.
