can i get a car insurance policy for a month ONLY?
my friends and i are planning a road trip across the country and back. my friends grandma just got a new car and has her old car just sitting in her driveway. we want to take it because its a four door car but it has no insurance policy. is there anyway to get coverage for the month we are gone ONLY and not for the whole year or 6 months, or 3 months. thanks A: Technically, there are ways of doing this. If Grandma holds the vehicle title in her name, the insurance policy will have to be listed in her name, and grandson as a driver. Once the policy is started, you can choose to pay it in full, quarterly, or monthly in most cases.
