Candidates who are unable to secure a Teaching Assistantship can acquire teaching experience by arranging an Apprenticeship with an experienced faculty member in their own, or a related, discipline. Apprenticeships generally require 20 hours of supervision and guidance with a faculty member (guidelines for apprenticeships are available at the CST).
