Can I fry in deep fat in my Kuhn Rikon pressure cooker or pressure frypan?

0

Kuhn Rikon does not recommend deep-fat frying or “broasting” in our Duromatic pressure cookers. Never use more than 1/4 cup of oil in the pressure cooker when preparing food. Fat can be raised to a much higher temperature than water and the danger of being burned is very high when using large quantities of oil. We like to think of our Duromatic pressure cookers as a healthy alternative to fat-laden foods like pizza and sodium-high foods like frozen entrees or soups. Take advantage of the delicious healthy recipes in our recipe section.
