Yes you can. When you buy them clean them in cold water. Then you need to blanche them in hot but not boiling water. (Just put water in a pot to heat until it simmers) After a few minutes in the blanching water take them out and immediately put them into a bowl of ice water. That stops the cooking process. Then dry them and put them in freezer bags. They will keep in your freezer for about 4 to 6 months. I do this all the time. I save a lot of money doing it this way too. I buy these vegetables when they are in season and freeze them so I can have them anytime I want them. Prepackaged frozen vegetables are expensive. Why buy them when you can do it yourself.
