To format a USB flash driver with NTFS File System you should: • Right-click on My Computer and select Manage; • Open the Device Manager and find your USB flash drive under the Disk Drives heading; • Right-click on the drive and select Properties; • Choose the Policies tab and select Optimize for performance; • Click OK; • Open My Computer; • Select Format on the USB flash drive; • Choose NTFS in the File System box to format with NTFS File System; Note: To remove a USB flash drive safely, without data loss, use a safely remove hardware procedure or Eject function from Explorer.
