Can I fly with my NiteRider battery in my carry on bag or checked in luggage?
Flying with batteries, according to the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) if you are traveling by airplane it is permitted to place all NiteRider Lithium Ion or Nickel Metal Hydride batteries in your carry on bag or in your checked luggage as long as they are installed in the NiteRider Battery Canister and they are disconnected from the light head. All connections from the light head to the battery must be disconnected.
