Can i fix speaker wire on my surround sound system?

You can splice the broken wires. You get a wire stripper and strip the wire down to bare metal. Then twist the ends together. Use good tape or heat shrink tube to insulate the splice. Better instructions are on the net. If the wires are chewed right off the speakers, then you can try to open the speakers. If there is no obvious way to open the speakers, look for hidden screws (under labels, foot pads or grill for instance). Or try to carefully remove the speaker element from the cabinet via the front. That should get you inside and allow you to replace the wiring.
