Can I fit camping gear in a rucsack for 2adults for 2days?
To answer this question one would need to know how big your tent, sleeping bags and sleeping pads are when they are packed as small as possible. Also if you plan on bringing extra clothes. I can fit my tarp tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, stove, fuel, few extra clothes, first aid kit, camera, rain coat, hydration bladder and food for two and a half days into a 28 liter pack. You will also want to carry spare tubes, tire levers, a hand pump, and a bicycle multi-tooI. I will assume your gear is slightly larger than mine and that you are carrying spare clothes for two. The smallest you could go is 45 liters but that would be if you pack light and have small lightweight gear. A 50 – 60 liter pack should fit everything. The easiest way to be sure everything will fit is to take what you plan on packing to the store you plan on buying the pack from.
