Can I find out the gender of my baby sooner if I use 3D ultrasound?
The way that they do the 3D ultrasound is by taking a regular ultrasound and when the picture looks clear then turning it into a 3D ultrasound (not the “technical” way…but I have had 2 3D ultrasounds and this is what they did both times) but anyway if the “parts” can’t be seen on a 2D (regular) scan, they can’t be seen on the 3D…and more than likely it will look like a blob no matter which parts your baby has…I had my first 3D scan at 30 weeks and even though we knew the gender we wanted to be extra sure and she tried but it just looked like a blob in 3D but in 2D it looks like a penis 🙂 Good luck with everything! It is so hard to wait huh?!
