Can I file weekly claims for Tier II benefits online or over the phone?
If your claim is currently inactive, you must submit a paper application for EUC Tier II benefits in order to determine your eligibility this will reactivate your claim. The first week for which Tier II benefits can be paid is the week ending June 13, 2009. If the process of reactivating your claim extends beyond the week ending June 13, your weekly claims for the period from the week ending June 13 until your claim is reactivated will need to be filed through a paper process. If youre determined to be eligible for Tier II EUC, these paper claim forms will be mailed to you. Once your claim is reactivated, you can file your weekly claims through the automated weekly claims telephone system or on our Web site, www.uibenefits.dol.ks.gov.
