Can I file my papers in a Jonesboro or Pine Bluff case in the Little Rock Clerks Office?

0

All documents originating from either a Pine Bluff or Jonesboro case should be filed at those locations. The only exceptions to this rule are: (1) Pine Bluff prisoner cases are always filed in Little Rock; (2) when a Clerk is unavailable in that office, documents may be filed in any office; and, (3) when an attorney represents that the document he/she wants filed is a last day filing. When a last day filing occurs, parties should provide the Clerk’s Office with an envelope, addressed to either the Pine Bluff or Jonesboro Clerk’s Office, with the correct amount of postage. Clerk’s Office staff will file stamp these documents and then forward them to the appropriate divisional office for docketing. All filings in Batesville and Helena cases are to be filed in the Little Rock Clerk’s Office since Batesville and Helena are unstaffed divisional offices.
