Can I file for divorce after my husband has filed for restitution of conjugal rights?
Read both your questions posted here. Your husband treated badly with you, tried to hurt you & even take your life, you filed complaint under the newly enacted D.V.Act against him after you left him with your daughter & came to your parental home. He had been rightly guided by his lawyer to file a civil suit for restitution of conjugal right where as you since not having sufficient piece of medical evidence could only file complaint under D.V. Act & not under section 498A of the Indian Penal Code against him for the act of Physical Cruelty causing you serious wounds etc that could ultimately lead to your dead, or for whatever reason best known to you that you did not move under that provision of law if the cruelty towards you was so serious in nature, who all were your legal advisors, who even did not suggest you to simultaneously file petition for divorce for the act of cruelty on his part, along with that to demand maintenance pendentilite & litigation charges immediately from him &
