Can I file a claim for damages to my personal vehicle while legally parked in an assigned University parking lot?
The University provides reasonable and safe parking for all employees. A claim can only be considered if there is clear evidence that the damage occurred as a result of negligence on the part of the University or if a University vehicle can be identified as having caused the damage. The University vehicle would need to be identified by make, year and plate number. All other claims should be filed with your personal auto carrier.
