Can i feed my 8 month old from a metal spoon?
I feed Holly from a metal spoon for some meals, it all started when she refused to eat her meals for some reason, so i would get her dinner ready then i would sit down as though it was mine, and when she came near i would say ‘No this is Mummy’s dinner’ until i knew she was desperate (sounds awful doesnt it? But the things we do to get them to eat.) then i would say ‘Do you want to try some’ and eventually it just caught on, and i kept feeding her from a metal one. So yes, its fine just make sure you dont bash her teeth, and of course dont let her chew it. I hope you find some way to make her eat properly again, they can be hard at times.
