Can I extend service coverage on my iPad beyond the warranty?
The AppleCare Protection Plan for iPad will extend the hardware repair coverage to up to two years from the iPad date of purchase. The AppleCare Protection Plan can be purchased only while your iPad is still covered under Apple’s Limited Warranty for iPad. As an added service option, the AppleCare Protection Plan for iPad includes Advance Replacement Service at no additional cost.
