No you will be considered in admissible in Canada if you have  DWI on your record.

There are a couple options you have though.

The first is if the conviction was 5 or more years ago you will be able to apply for criminal rehabilitation and if accepted you will be able to permanently come in and out of Canada. This has to be done at a Canadian consulate and can take several months to be processed, but it is worth doing.

The second option you have is apply for a TRP, a temporary resident permit. This allows people who are inadmissible to Canada to temporarily visit.

I hope that helps!

The Canadian Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration says, if you’ve been convicted of a criminal offense, you can’t enter Canada.
