It depends on the school. Something open to all 50 states (versus something by state or county) is probably more likely to be open year round. I strongly recommend checking out .com. Open to all states and all grades with reasonable prices and many programs to choose from. They are accredited and have a wonderful teacher (if you need one). It’s not online, it’s through the mail. But you can type your work and print it out so it’s pretty close. Remember before you sign up for anything to make sure it is accredited, don’t do it until you know for sure. And beware of free online schools, because they are almost never accredited or are scams. Good luck. Probably not, but you need to check with the school for a definite answer. Also, if you aren’t already being homeschooled and you would need to leave your regular school, you need to check your area’s laws and regulations regarding homeschooling and leaving your public or private school half-way through the semester.
