Can I enrol as a remote student for MSc and PhD program in Medical Physics?
The MSc program is currently available to students who are able to come to Adelaide, or who have a position in the Medical Physics Department of an appropriate hospital in Australia or New Zealand. In other words, both the M.Sc. and Ph.D. are available only to students resident in Adelaide or employed in the Medical Physics field in Australia or New Zealand. If you are eligible to apply as a remote student, you will need to: • identify one of the Medical Physicists at your hospital to provide supervision of your research project in Sydney; • propose a research topic approved by your local supervisor and by A/Prof. Eva Bezak; • provide a letter from your Head of Department supporting your enrolment in the program and assuring the availability of ongoing support and supervision. • In addition, you will also need to undertake to come to Adelaide for at least one week near the start of your project work and to make at least one visit per year during your candidature.
