Can I employ international students? What about visas and work permits?
International students are legally permitted to work full-time for one year on a work placement as long as the placement counts as part of their degree. Students no longer require permission from a Job Centre to work in the UK or from the Department for Education and Employment for a sandwich or internship placement.
