Can I earn credits towards the Fellowship of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine (FAWM)?
Yes. Through joint sponsorship with the Wilderness Medical Society active members of WMS may earn up to 35.75 hours (30.75 core and 5 elective) toward the 100 required credits necessary for FAWM recognition for participation in the Wilderness Upgrade for Medical Professionals course, up to 59.5 hours (27 core and 32.5 elective)for participation in the Wilderness First Responder course and up to 16 hours for participation in the Wilderness Medicine for the Professional Practitioner course.
