Can I dye my hair at a salon or get a tattoo while pregnant?
It is consider safe to dye your hair after the first trimester. You are still in your first trimester so wait until you get into your second or third. I have been coloring my hair black since my second trimester and my little girl is just fine and healthy. Of course I ask my OB about it first and he told me that it’s safe just as long as it’s in a well ventilated area b/c of the fumes. A tattoo however is not recommended while pregnant. I have seven tattoos, I’m an addict but my tattoo artist refused to tattoo me b/c of me being pregnant. I also asked my OB this and he said that the adrenaline rush you have while getting a tattoo can put your baby in stress or shock. I would never risk getting a tattoo while pregnant.
