Can i dye my brassy coppery yellow highlighed hair?
Use a semi-permanent colour. The kind that wash out in 24 shampoos or 6-8 weeks. These colour your hair but without using harmful peroxides that can dry and permanently colour your hair. Your best bet is to pick a colour closest to your natural colour so that you turn the brassy yellow bits back to brown as well as the few grey bits. The semi will help to condition these particular bits and will add shine to the natural brown bits. Or you could try a blonde one. This will not touch the natural brown you have as they will not lighten (no peroxide) but will change the tone of the yellow. A bit hit and miss though as again it will not lighten the yellow only change the tone. The one thing you don’t want to do is go to the hairdressers to have yet another colour put on top as these contain peroxide and if your hair is that dry, it will break. Good Luck!
