Can I drive and eat the day of the ozone injection procedure?
Ozone muscle and ozone joint injection procedures are performed in the office. You can drive before and after the procedures. Ozone disc injections are performed under fluoroscopic guidance as a same day outpatient procedure. Patients also usually prefer sedation during the procedure. Therefore, you cannot drive after the procedure. You can also not eat 6 hours prior to the procedure. If you are a diabetic, let us know and special arrangements will be made.
