Alcohol is “carbohydrate” by definition. You’re supposed to cut out carbohydrates in the Atkins diet, so it wouldn’t make any sense to drink alcohol of any type while you’re on it! Anyone on any diet should avoid alcohol or cut back their consumption of it.
