Can I download the PatentEase program? Can I electronically file my patent application?
The PatentEase audio/visual files are so big that it is impractical to download them. Therefore, we provide the program on CD-ROM and mail it to you, along with a user’s guide. The PTO permits filing of patent applications electronically. However, you must use the PTO protocol (see the USPTO website: www.uspto.gov), you must forward a check or money order for the filing fee, and you must handle drawings either electronically or in hard copy form.
