Can I do video conferencing on Asus EeePC (Xandros) with people on MSN Messenger?

I’m looking to buy an Asus EeePC (7inch) and need to be able to do video conferencing with my friends who use MSN Messenger. I can’t really get them to use another IM client and I don’t really want to have to try and put Windows XP onto the Asus as a copy of XP will make the Asus expensive.
