Can I do a repair install from a disk on Vista like with XP?
Many differences exist between the Windows XP and Vista operating systems. Both handle data in drastically different ways, and as a result, the troubleshooting steps for a problem vary greatly. Although both Vista and XP have recovery methods, performing a repair operation is a little bit different for Vista than it was for XP.
