Can I disturb an archaeological site or Aboriginal place or object?

No. Relics and artefacts that are part of historical features or archaeological deposits (eg. bricks, building stone, mining machinery, etc) must not be dislodged or removed. These are protected by the Heritage Act 1995. Please advise Parks Victoria of any artefacts that may be found, as these will assist them in understanding the history and significance of the places they manage.
