When you disconnect the USB cable or turn off the camera while it is connected to the computer, please operate as follows. Please note that the stored data may be damaged if you do not follow the appropriate operation.For Windows Me, Windows 2000, and Windows XP: • Double-click the Unplug or Eject Hardware or Safely Remove Hardware icon on the task tray (usually on the lower right corner) of the computer. • Select SONY DSC and click Stop. • Confirm the device to remove, and then click OK. • Click OK. (This operation is not needed in Windows XP.) • Disconnect the USB cable.For Windows 98 and Windows 98SE: Confirm that the access indicators on the LCD, are turned white, and then disconnect the USB cable.For Mac OS: After confirming the access indicators are turned white, drag and drop the drive icon or the icon of the Memory Stick to the Trash icon, then disconnect the USB cable. For Mac OS X (10.0), disconnect the cable after turning off the computer.
