Can I direct a canonical domain to a different directory on my Virtual Private Server?
Yes. The canonical domain would be treated the same way as a virtual host domain on your Virtual Private Server. Thus, you would need to run the vaddvhost command to add the canonical domain to your Virtual Private Server. During the configuration process, you will be prompted for the directory to which the canonical domain will eventually reside.
