looking for a switch or lockout mechanism on a 2002 honda accord, that will deactivate the passenger airbag so that a child can safely and lawfully ride i the front seat… A: It is dangerous to put a child in the front seat of a car with or without an air bag! If you were to be in an accident, the child could be severely hurt, and it would be your lack of judgment that caused it. It is much safer to put the child in the backseat if you’re so worried about their safety.
