Can i deactivate my myspace account temporarily?
Yes you can in the way that you can disable everyone from being able to send you messages when you go to ‘Account Settings’ then ‘Miscellaneous’ then go down to where it says ‘Away Message’ and check that box then you can type whatever that you’re on vacation etc… Now when someone tries to send you a message (even on your friends list) will get this message when they try to send you one: You can’t send a message to “—–” because “—–‘s” status is set to away. And below that is your away message (which I think is optional) People can still leave you comments unless you set it to ‘approve comments’ or ‘disabling comments’ but that is basically a way of disabling it without losing it.
