Can I cut rope light or string sets to make them a certain length?
NO! This will violate UL electrical safety standards. Can I paint the light bulbs? No. The manufacturer uses a special type of paint on light bulbs. If one bulb falls out of my Constant On™ light set will the set stay lit? Yes. However, replace missing or burned out bulbs as soon as possible, extra current can cause other bulbs to burn out faster. Can I hang glass ornaments on the tree?
