Yes, you can use Audio Capture software such as Audacity on Mac or Windows. Vista machines come with Sound Recorder software that makes it very easy to record a .wmv file, which can then be converted to an MP3 using free software (most computers can actually play the .wmv’s). The Sound Recorder in Vista is found in the Accessories folder. To use it, you’ll first have to enable the Stereo Mixer on your computer by going to Control Panel>Sound>Recording.
