Can I Convert An Object/Struct To Raw Data (Byte Array) And Back Again?

I am wondering if it’s possible to convert an object or a struct to a byte array of the raw data. It’s been a long time, but I seem to remember doing this in C++ at one point, and with very little code. What I’d like to be able to do is save a struct into a registry binary value.
