The only appliance that is expressly prohibited from personal office space is a microwave oven. These will be readily available for your use in all kitchen areas. While UT policy does not specifically prohibit the use of small appliances in the office area, there are strict requirements on how appliances are used and where they are located. There will likely be internal OIT policies developed on this matter. You are urged to review the Campus Safety Manual, Section IV: General Health and Safety Rules, for more information.
